Title: Banned border crossings - Stay safe SA
Post by: yvesjv on Jul 04, 2020, 06:50:51 AM
Reading this article, I found the attempt to fool the cops amusing
"But Mohamed says they were just sightseeing."  :cup:
Though, still idiots for trying:-

Hi yvesjv,
Its amazing how people seem to be going about life doing the most innocent of activities (??) and the police 'turn up' casting suspicion.
It's like the alledged parlour visited by police during the lockdown.
One of the 4 women charged apparently had only been at the premises delivering vegetables.
Seems logical  :toothy9:
It was a head of cauliflower, your honour.
Cheers

I read a report where six young people, aged between 18 and 22, were trying to cross into Queensland.  It said a total of $24 000 in fines were issued, so I assume they all got a $4000 each.   :hello2:

And then there is the guy over here in the west that thought it would be fun to run out of the ground at Thursdays footy,

He could be fined $50,000 plus imprisoned. Bloody goose  :BangHead:

I'm not deluding myself that all these people who get caught and fined, or placed in hotel quarantine at their own expense, are actually going to pay!

I was thinking that the other day, how many people would come back from an overseas holiday and have $3.000+ in there back pocket?

Maybe the Government will give them a loan.

Just read the news on Qld shutting the borders to NSW.
At this rate the whole country will go into lockdown again...
Thank you Victoria! /s
