Yep as a Queenslander I hate daylight saving as well as the cows , what a ridiculous concept trying to change time and the mighty Joe Bjelke was ok for a kiwi .. None of these detractors would be man enough to play real footy anyway.
So I wouldn't worry too much about them.

How many Qld players play for Qld clubs. Think Melbourne Storm.. GO STORM is what we will be saying. Just love Qld winning. Besides how can you call it football when the ball is thrown all the time?

How anyone can get excited by the sight of supposedly grown men chasing after an inflated pigs bladder or the modern equivalent astounds me and that applies to all codes of "football". I think both rugby and soccer were a British schoolboy invention. At least Aussie rules (which I don't follow either) is believed to be derived from a past-time of our original inhabitants. Still I suppose some people need to spend quality time glued in front of the idiot box cheering on their heroes.

Rugby and Soccer both have their own individual codes. singular to themselves.
"Ping pong". That Hybrid one. Is a mix of three different codes (Couldn't make their minds up being Victorians)
with a few extra's thrown in just to confuse everybody.
Internet tells you everything. read it up)
They are ALL just a legal way for MEN In Rugby anyway.
(Ping Pong players do it sly behind ref's back.) . to release some
testosterone. Legally.
Size of some of those blokes, you want 'em doing it in a controlled environment.
Rather than in local pubs.
Apart from that.
It's good to rub it in a bit. few yrs ago they were doing it to us,
NSW had 95% of the players we had a handful.
Now. Most of the good players are either Queenslanders
or islander/N.Z originated..

AFL is the biggest waste of talent in australian sport. Why so many people watch a couple of suburbs in melbourne play gaelic football is a joke.
A sport where representing your suburb is more important than representing your state.
Why play a sport that you can't represent your country in is such a waste of talent. :tongue1:

Unfortunately there is still a few people out there that don't like us Victorians but we get over it and Go Our Own Way I have a lot of QLD friends and personally I don't like VB so we send it north for the wankers with no taste.

How tough was that 1st half penalty count 9-1 in Nsw favour and Queensland down a player for 10 minutes ,tough stuff for Queensland I recon they can do it . NSW should have scored twice at least ,watch the Queenslanders come out in the second half with purpose . Well.
The ref's really leaned the blues way this game.
SOme real bad calls on both sides too.
He really NEEDS to take up knitting.
he can't control a footy game.
Finally, as I've been saying. Daley got a team together.
If the ref's are fair and controlling. BOTH WAYS.
and players forget out the big I am some think they are.
and concentrate on playing footy.
We'll finally have a competition. 1/10 or 10/1. The losermust really get disheartened.
All I want to see.
Is a couple or three. "Full on" games of Footy.
Regardless of who wins.. I just like appreciating the game.
I'm a footy fan first. that also follows Bronc's. Cowboys and Bunny's.
One day they'll let the main competition finish first. B4 Origin.
Then the players can concentrate on the one thing at a time.
Ne'er mind. Apart from a few dirty hic-cups it was a pretty good game.
Much neareer than it has been for last 11 yrs or so.
Bring Gus back and train them together for a coupla sesasons.
you'll have a winning team...
