Title: Sliding windows
Post by: ajm on Jan 14, 2024, 08:32:59 PM
Could be in your canopy, in your caravan, in the back of an old patrol or cruiser, or, maybe even a horse float. I took the windows out of a float that we bought a few years back as they didn't work. That is, the badly channel had disintegrated as had all other rubber seals.

So, I am after pictures, close ups if you can please of any sliding windows of the frameless kind. That is, the glass itself slides inside the frame. Not the more modern variety  where the windows are framed and  the frame slides within another frame ( like house windows).

I am trying to figure out what apart from bailey channel I need.  Fingers crossed there are some old school cowboys out there still. Cheers

Have you tried Sellys ezy-glide or the CRC equivalent.

Hi ajm, Mini's had sliding windows.  Not sure if it would help but there are a bit of info on the net about conversion kits and fixing them up.  :icon_thumleft:
