apart from your phone number who keeps too much confidential info on a social media platform. Owning a smartphone you have already lost your privacy info you would be suprised how much info Google stores about you.

I tried FB 6 years ago and I only tolerated it for around 3 weeks before I chucked it in.

Depends on what you're interested in, not a lot different to a lot of other forums. I'm in about 10 different groups, all with similar interests, all moderated, all very informative, and I've learnt a lot from them, good and bad.
Basic rule I stick to is "if I wouldn't stand on the roof with a megaphone to tell the world about my business," I don't put it on ANY forum

I use Facebook for Groups and contact with family. The special interest groups I'm in are great for information or getting help - like this forum.
