for sure, will keep good on ice or fridge for about 10 days, just learn how to use your machine correctly.long time bagged foods such as fish fillets will last up to a year as you don't get any freezer burn. best of luck.

Vac seal and freeze would be ok but id only refrigerate for as long as you keep left over Chinese for in the fridge 2 days max.

I prefer to cook myself at camp sites itsw dead easy to do a cook with a pre made thai curry or indian curry simmer sauce  and fresh meats then just add frozen veggies, always comes up a treat. Some of the simmer sauces are really good especially the Indian curries.

Guess you all know how to do bush cryovacing ???

Clip lock bags to suit item to be cryovaced. (essential)
Big pot of water.
Place contents into the clip lock bag, immerse bag into the pot of water ensuring water does not pour into bag thru the open top. The water pressure acting thru the bag walls onto the contents will force the air out.
Clip lock the bag top.......presto, contents are bush cryovaced..
Works well. I use it for fish fillets.

My 2 bobs worth

+1 on this  :icon_thumleft:

'first time I saw the missus do this,... gee that's a good idea  :).
'Lay it flat in the freezer before the trip and it packs well in the waeco.
