Some of you may have noticed the forum had an unexpected outage for a little while.
I have the domain set to auto renew, which it did, but it also reset all my settings so the domain name didn't know where to point......
Sorry for the inconvenience, hopefully we are good to go for another two years ;)

Hi Danny,
Yeah, was wondering what happened?
Then looked up www.ozisuzu.com.au during the outage, it did not return an ip.
ozisuzu.com.au did return an ip and it still points to 166.62.6.79.
www.ozisuzu.com.au now points to the same ip.
Hmmm, that's a godaddy ip address.
Doing a reverse lookup on that ip points to
bash-4.4$ host 166.62.6.79
79.6.62.166.in-addr.arpa domain name pointer ip-166-62-6-79.ip.secureserver.net.
There are a lot of domains sharing that ip address
http://stuffgate.com/166.62.6.79
Don't want to be the proverbial p@!$ in the @$$ but all it takes is for a cracker to register a domain to that ip for phishing, payload hosting, etc and that shared ip of 166.62.6.79 is blocked at the DNS level by the likes of OpenDNS, Umbrella, etc.
I had a request a couple of months to investigate why an apparently legit site was blocked and it was exactly that scenario, but with a different hosting provider.
The link below explains a bit.

Hope this unexpected bit of info helps.

Yes I have to mess about a bit to connect to the site with my bush notebook- says" invalid security certificate" when first opened. But working around this is not unbearable.

That's strange.
I'm not seeing this error, could be your bush notebook ;)
Hopefully not a windows10 variant... :BangHead:
Send a pic to DannyG and the other site admins, they'll work it out :)

Thanks . It's working now, maybe Danny has fixed the problem or one of the "allow this site" permissions actually stayed permanently on.
Good to be able to see what's going on with just one click.

Thanks for the info gents.
Yes at this stage we are on a shared server as it’s cheaper.
We did add security to our site earlier this year.
It is highly unlikely a potential hacker would be lucky enough to land themselves on our server and then be able to access our section of it.
I know it’s possible of course as is anything but not really likely.
As we grow and the need for our own server comes up I’ll go down that path.
