Title: When reversing Japanese voice and jingle begins
Post by: Sneds on Apr 12, 2021, 06:24:35 PM
We have an Isuzu motorhome (Elf), yr 1997, brought over from Japan.
We had a new lithium battery installed in RV and then a strange Japanese voice can now be heard when in reverse.
It is really annoying!
Has anyone heard of this happening and if so how do we get rid of it.

Back in 1980 I fitted a reverse warning device to our Mazda.  It was wired into the reversing light circuit and uttered the words "Caution this vehicle is backing up" in a loop.
Perhaps your vehicle has something similar fitted which was reconnected when the new battery was installed?
