You've got two unrelated statements there.

MG isn't MG any more. It's venture capital out of China. Plenty of people with petrol MGs are having a terrible time with them.

If you have an Electric MG, the "electric" isn't the problematic part of that equation.

People have been driving electric vehicles for ages with no problems. The Prius has been around for decades and with a bit of messing around they can still be on the road. In the same way you see people driving s-box commodores and falcons around.

They'd be better off putting SAIC everywhere on it instead of channelling anything to do with Morris Garages.  My old MGB MkI was charming, but that's about as far as I'd take it... in the same way that old Jags are charming. 

It's like shacking up financially with someone's broke grandma because you enjoy her folksy sense of humour.
