Yes, very lucky! And a little happy. I normally have articles published in Bowhunting and outdoors magazines, so it's nice to get something a little different under the belt.

Gee mate very lucky, great article though. Hope it does not happen in the D.Max other wise the bloody air bags are going to go off.

It's very useful to learn about what bull bars can do by way of protection.  At the mo they're all but one sold on the basis of a vague promise.  Manufacturers are doing their own testing but not making the results public as far as I can see - apart from Smartbar.
