« on: Nov 13, 2014, 09:33:51 PM »
A little excited here... While I've been a freelance writer and photographer for a while now, I just achieved something different. Got an article/ testimonial up in the latest issue of the ARB magazine..... Link here...

Talk about making lemonade from lemons, received a nice product voucher for my troubles!

Yes, very lucky! And a little happy. I normally have articles published in Bowhunting and outdoors magazines, so it's nice to get something a little different under the belt.

Great read about an unfortunate accident.
After 23 rounds it was clear that the dish didn't run away with the spoon!!

It's very useful to learn about what bull bars can do by way of protection.  At the mo they're all but one sold on the basis of a vague promise.  Manufacturers are doing their own testing but not making the results public as far as I can see - apart from Smartbar.

Good article.

Funny that I saw your thread here Myst, I was reading that very article today (this morning) at the Isuzu dealer while waiting for my D-Max 10k service. I dare say that you would have been writing a very different kind of article if you didn't have the bull bar on!
I thought the lux fared quite well considering!

Thanks Jimbo, i think were it not for the bar, the piece written may have been an epitaph! After all was said and done TIO measured the chassis, it was skewed 24mm to the right and 17mm high on the right rail. She absorbed a hell of a hit.

You'll have to PM me your experience with Vanderfield - had to go there the other week and found them to be great.
