Covid and Parcel Post
« on: Mar 02, 2022, 03:47:56 PM »
Two years on and its still the gift that keeps on giving. Covid, IMO, has screwed with the supply chain so much I'm not sure its going to get better for the next couple of years.

Things are getting lost. Things are taking weeks and months to get delivered. Getting goods in stock is challenging.

A simple project is taking months just to get all the pieces so i can begin it. Frustrated is the word I believe.

Ok, better now.

Concur with you. I ordered a rewireable right and IEC plug and it took 98 days to come from China. Buying anything on eBay within Australia can take 2 weeks to get to WA from the east coast. :BangHead:

I ordered some trailer side lights from Aliexpress.  They show the package arriving in Oz on 19 Jan and provided an Aust Post Tracking No.  The Aust Post Tracking website shows the item hasn't been scanned into their system.  Is Aliexpress trying to cheat me or is Aust Post the culprit?  My guess is the culprit is Aust Post.

Most likely Aust Post, you can message seller onaliexpress and askthem to check.
Most stuff throght them takes at least a month depends upon the shipping method you selected
