I have plans on mapping Toolangi state forest, and the Melbourne weather is against me. I was hoping to get out tomorrow for the day, but this damn weather is not fore that idea when running stock tyres.

Java:
Not just the tyres you should worry about but also fallen trees
They promised more rain wind and fallen trees today

Absolutely. I thought about that little problem later when watching the news, them talking about the trees falling due to soft soil.

I plan to find a good range of tracks and camping spots, depending on the weather. As the vehicle evolves to be more capable, then the only thing that will change is the depth of river crossings as to my destination when raining. Find nice clear spots to watch the rain do its thing eventually.

Meanwhile in the NT, the wet is pretty dry...
We'll take all your rain right now.
