FLOODS
« on: Mar 24, 2021, 09:28:57 PM »
Just read about some poor bloke who drowned, seemingly stuck in his Toyota when trying to cross a flooded creek. Poor chap was on the phone to police apparently.
Leaving aside all the conjecture about why he would try to cross a flooded creek, just what does one do if the electrics die and doors and windows are locked shut ?
Is this actually possible ? I can see windows closed up , but doors ?
Really interested to find out just what could and couldn't happen with windows, door locks etc when the engine dies and car is flooded.

Seems like a bloke died in his D-Max on the coast as well. Apart from " Don't try to cross", what do you do when stuck in a locked car?

Cheers
Jim
