With this little device being part of a critical operational component.

The failure of which would result on catastrophic failure of the most expensive assembly in your car.

Do you really want the cheapest?

I'm going for the best I can get and fitted by a reputable transmission specialist.

I cannot afford a new gearbox.

Isn't Davis Craig one of the better suppliers of this type of gear?
Was 2014 LST Ash Beige. SMM Steel canopy, Outback Drawers, dual battery with 2 x 160W solar panels (keeps the beers nice and cold), 135L tank, TJM T15 alloy bar with Xray-vision LED lights, Dumbo Clearview Mirrors. The ultimate tow truck. Now MG EV

That was my understanding.  I've been looking around for one to fit to my MUX and this was one mentioned as having been installed by previous posters. I think it is probably a bit light on for what I want so I'm considering the larger Davis Craig unit.

Even so, I thought this was a good deal which is what this thread is supposed to be about.

Cheers
Steve

Have a look at HPD transmission coolers as well. Way more expensive but look to be exceptional quality and very good mounting brackets.
Appear to be made in South Aus?
The way other brands are mounted is a concern for me.
Don’t worry about things you can’t change!
