A pretty decent video with not too much advertising embedded.  Validates what we all know, that Isuzu made an error of judgement choosing not to install a rear diff lock.  I honestly think this has hurt sales of both the D-MAX and the MU-X more than any other factor.   People are very wary of touching the driveline of a new car even though there are aftermarket options available.

Had a chat with the guys from the local stealership couple weeks ago towards the specs on the new 2020 model.
No one has seen the specs yet.
Hopefully IUA will not stuff it up this time and have the lockers as standard or optional.
I'll be hoping they could be retrofitted to the earlier models.

Finally a decent comparison. This is the sort of world I use my Dmax. I have a reasonable list of upgrades but not an E locker. My vehicle is a 5 speed manual. The Dmax has suprised me a few times what the vehicle can do without an LSD. A couple of time I have run out of momentum on long steep rocky climbs where an E locker would have helped.

At 11:44 it is stated the Dmax can be given the full 50mm lift... I thought in reality the max lift was 40mm??
Checked out the website of the 'suspension expert' and found this info "SuperPro Roll Control Ezy-Lift Kits are the ideal way to lift a standard height Dual or Single Cab 4WD Ute and retain the standard suspension"
https://fulcrumsuspensions.com.au/search/product/4wd-lift-kits/4wd-lift-kits-for-2017-isuzu-d-max-tfr-tfs/category-15639/colorado-isuzu-d-max-45mm-superpro-block-spacer-kit-easy-lift-kit-9995-trc185lk-87095-pid-107175.html

Appears Cahill is promoting https://fulcrumsuspensions.com.au/4x4-suspension

The shop is located in Coopers Plain Qld and only 3400Ks from Darwin.... darnit!

In SA the maximum you can lift a vehicle without engineering is 50mm. The quoted lift gains by various after market suspension providers differ. Old man emu quote 35mm. I have Ironman foam cell pros and the inital lift was 50mm+ until it settled down.

The Mitsubishi motor effected are the 1.6 and 2.2 turbo diesels which are not in the Triton.
