Isn't it hot?
« on: Jan 23, 2020, 07:53:30 PM »
Hopped in my MUX today after a hard day's work.
8 hours the mix had been sitting in the shade under a tree.

Looked at the dash as I turned the key, the first bar on the temp gauge was showing.

When I started it, the scangauge showed both the coolant temp and tranny temp to be 46 Dec.

The cars thermometer showed 38 Dec.

It took less than a kilometer to get to 2 bars, and the third came up where I usually see the first bar.

Even so
The car cooled down to a comfortable temperature inside by the time I got to the freeway.

The coolant temp never got above 89 at any stage, even with bumper to bumper traffic.
The tranny temp stayed around 2 to 3 Dec cooler than the coolant temp.

I LOVE MY MUX
