Big coin for an Oztrail strap when you consider the price of the majority of their other products

We have a 11,000kg ARB for Car and camper......and a 8000kg Bushranger for car only that lives in with the main recovery kit when we go away and likely to need recovery gear.

Day to day there is a Ironman 8000kg and 2x 3.75T shackles that live in the car under the floor in the back for just in case moments  :laughing7:

 :occasion14:

Went to ARB to buy a 8000 & 11,000 kg straps since I now have a camper that will come in at a tonne when loaded. Advice was that 11,000 is not suitable because besides the breaking strain you need extra weight to stretch it to effect the snatch. A 2 ton ute won't stretch an 11,000 strap trying to recover a ute with trailer. They said an 11,000 strap is more suited to a 5 ton truck recovering a 5 ton truck
So I settled on a ARB 8000kg snatch strap with a 3m equalizer strap. Also will have the replacement Hercules 8000kg strap when it comes to join with the ARB one. I expect the Hercules one will be up to the job without issues after the directive from ACCC

I got an email recently to say the replacement strap was on its way and it was delivered a few days later by courier so the company resolved this issue fairly quickly and at some expense
