Isuzu Manual Gearbox for Mazda BT50

Sons BT50 had a gearbox issue.... new gearbox fitted under warranty … thumbs up to Mazda.

Interestingly in general chat it appears Mazda are changing from Ford gearboxes to Isuzu gearboxes.
Reason being the Isuzu gearbox has an unbreakable or basically no issues..

How about that......

Umm, it’s been a well known fact for a couple of years that Mazda has split from Ford and the 2020 BT50 will be based upon an Isuzu Dmax, not a Ford Ranger.  Plenty of info on this forum and Mr Google.

Bro-In-Law's BT50 had a manual gbox let go after 165,000ks. Mazda covered most of the cost.
