That looks like a decent little unit for the price.  :icon_thumleft:

Good review of it over here too: http://www.4wd1.com/Dr-Air-Pro-Flow.htm

when i bought my ABR sidewinder compressor I did a lot of research.....and this came 3rd in the top compressors (as reviewed by 4wd action i think?)

It was only beaten by models that were 2-3 times the price!

I would seriously be checking these out.

Sweet, I'll go have a look at Aldi to compare as there's one near my work.

For those interested, The Dr Air has a 5 year warranty.

4WD Action rated it #1 and #3 in its class depending on the model.

Check it out:

Fleabay has them going for $199:

Welcome to the forum newatthis!  :hello:

Is this the Thumper air compressor you are talking about?

I've also got one of the Dr Air Pro 150 Compressors. Great value and works well.
I inherited an ARB High Output Air Compressor from my old man a while back. It also does the job well and being mounted in the plastic box makes it a bit more convenient to use I reckon, but it gets unbelievably hot if you use it to pump up a few tyres consecutively.

Anybody had any experiences with the BBT Gold series compressor?  I was looking to get a Thumper based on the review that's been posted previously but a friend sent me this link,  I'd never heard of BBT before so i'm a bit skeptical about their quality.

No, I haven't heard of it. Looking at the specs, its sounds almost exactly the same as the Thumper. The gauge looks exactly the same. Has the same accessories too.

Must be worth it for this alone:

LOL!  :laughing7:

I picked up the Thumper today from the deal I posted in the deal thread. Lots of reviews of it, so I think you can't go wrong with that at $99.

Guys,
I bought the best compressor I could afford and I ended up with one from Superdupercheap, its this model;

http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/online-store/products/Ridge-Ryder-Air-Compressor-12-Volt-Ultimate.aspx?pid=299651#Recommendations

I know it's a cheap but it's probably on the better end of cheap, reviews all seem positive on the unit.
Got it for $199 on special. I hate the battery connectors though, do you guys see any issue with changing the plug to a cigarette lighter socket and using that instead?

Cheers,
Bill.
