I'm in Melbourne and it's been warm, not too bad, but up on the Murray River they've been copping 46 deg the last two days....

Nomes:
It's soooooooooo hot here in Sydney.

Worked in the heat yesterday, fortunately my client's garden is on the Georges River so had lunch on the jetty whilst dangling my feet in the river.  It is 300 steps up to the green bin, not foot steps, steps.

When I got home it was 44 degrees in my lounge room, top floor unit with no insulation.

Lucky my brother had Corporate box seats to Guns and Roses, air conditioning with free drinks and food made it quite pleasant.

Slept with the fan blowing on my feet.

This morning it is still 35 in my unit and off to do another garden at 7am.  Watering and more watering is on the gardening list today.

This has been going on for months now so I am thinking of moving into my fridge.  My little caravan has never been this hot.

Enjoy your snow, please tell us some more cold stories.

Cheers, Naomi

Last two days in Central Victoria temp has been above 42C perhaps more but i didn't go out to read the thermometer at times.  That temp is at the table under my back verandah. Cool eh'.
Overnight was a balmy 32C, even the Dmax this morning said it's sensor was 32C. Water in the engine was also 32C according to the Scangauge.

Got a bit of work on today so, snowed under, just like the UK.

GoldPete:
A delightful 22 degrees in Bairnsdale..Pete
