What's the camping like at Lake Hume? I've driven through Albury so many times, always thought "I'll have a look there one day..."

Thanks mate. Yeah, will be quite quick when we get it sorted out. Even this first time with taking our time and stuffing around it was still faster than our old soft floor. McHitch autocoupler is awesome. Just need to put airbags in the back of MU-X to support the weight a bit better.
This was our first time at Lake Hume. It was part of the camper deal so we mainly played around with the camper rather than wandering around the park. Given most of our camping to date has been at Big4's etc, this had more of a bush camping feel without being in the middle of the bush. And the view...........!!!!!

Heres our camper. I built it myself a few years ago and it has slowly evolved to a point where we are really happy with all aspects of it.
There is a build thread on here.........http://www.ozisuzu.com.au/index.php/topic,1489.msg12516.html#msg12516
It has a slide out kitchen that also holds our fridge, a couple of deep cycle batteries, diesel heater, hot and cold water, external shower thingy, gas etc all the mod cons made to easily set up and pack up camp.
And a couple of pics.......

That's awesome, thanks for sharing it with us. :cup:
Let me know when you want to build another one ;)

Nice job Danny. I too like you built my own camper. Greta satisfaction once completed. I have traveled about 50,000 kms in mine so far including your home state of Tasmania. Have included a few pics.
